Our Supporters
Without the help of our supporters, the project simply will not happen.
A Number of local churches, charities, small businesses support our work and we are working together to tackle food waste and hunger in our local area.
We wouldn't be able to do what we do without the surplus food we collect from our suppliers and also partners who help us with their regular donations and their time.
We would love to take this opportunity to say 'Big Thank You!'
Christ Church London Sutton
Christ Church London's Sutton Service is a place for everyone, with no belief system required. Each Sunday we spend time listening to a talk, worshipping God and learning to enjoy His presence with us, and building great friendships. We start each Sunday at 10.30am at the Cryer Arts Centre on Carshalton High Street and we have inclusive kids work catering for children from 0 up. There is also a weekly Cantonese Service to welcome new Hong Kongers to Sutton - this is also at The Cryer Arts Centre at 10.30am & we'd love you to join us! (Cryer Arts Centre, 39 High Street, Carshalton, SM5 3BB).
Neighbourly
The Neighbourly works with local stores and distribution centres that have quality surplus to give to groups that can put it to good use in the community. In partnership, we're able to access to our regular food donation from M&S, Lidl, Aldi and Sainsbury's where we have daily access to save and redistribute surplus food.
Community Champion Group
Community Champion is a local volunteer group formed in response to the pandemic and have been delivering everything from PPE to the NHS and keyworkers, to rescuing surplus to distribute to food banks, schools, soup kitchens, care homes, charities, volunteer groups and families.
Small Businesses in Morden/Mitcham/Sutton
We support local small businesses and work together to reduce food waste. We regularly pick up surplus food from local Polish food stores in Merton and Sutton.
